We're glad our visitors found us.  Thanks for your interest and, hopefully, your commitment, to becoming better informed and helping to strengthen the Democratic Party in Mitchell County. Democrats in Mitchell County are dedicated to achieving a government that does the greatest good for the greatest number of citizens and one that safeguards our liberties and freedoms, while fighting against those who would destroy our democracy. All registered Democrats are invited to attend any meetings and others are welcome at any general meeting or social event. For more information about us, check in at the Contacts page. On the forum page, you can share your ideas about the party, government and the state of the nation in general. Monthly general membership meeting

The MCDP monthly General Membership meeting is held the THIRD  Monday of each month  at Sallie's Mountain View Restaurant near Bakersville. The meeting begins at  7:00 p.m. From 6:30-7:00 is a time of socializing and visiting.  You will have the option to eat and meet, which makes arriving about 6:30 p.m. a good idea. 
We will adjourn by 8 p.m.
When you plan to come, spread the word and bring at least one other person.

Democratic Women Monthly Dinner Meeting

FIRST Thursday (note change) of every month. 6 pm. Democratic Women meet at DT's on Lower Street, Spruce Pine. Next to Mitchell County Chamber of Commerce. Next meeting is:  April 5, then May 3 and June 7. For more information call Jane, 828.765.7123
